I’m Cate Cook, the Creator of Posh & Pure Styled.
Like many of you, I’m a visual person. An artist at heart. I see the world in color, shape, and texture. I believe that the better you look, the better you feel. But beauty isn’t only skin deep. Beauty begins inside of you. Understanding your purpose, reconnecting with your soul, and trusting God with your journey of personal transformation, will lead you to your own unique path of self-expression and personal fulfillment.
Putting your best face forward, every day can be empowering. Feeling good in your skin or in your clothing can and does have a ripple effect on everything else you do. It’s okay to take care of yourself. In fact, it’s required. We are all beautiful in our own way.
I always knew I was meant to do something creative. Drawing and painting were my “sports” growing up. I’ve dabbled in Interior Design, worked in a few luxury boutiques where I got to do everything from styling the customers to designing the display windows and was a travel agent for many years.
I know what it’s like to have your breath taken away by the shape of the most beautiful handbag, seeing the perfect silhouette of a dress or the most brilliant shade of red lipstick. But beauty is most often found in the mundane. Beauty is all around us. We just need to be open to seeing the bigger picture.
If I’m not watching one of my son’s hockey games, I’m taking long walks and listening to podcasts on self-growth, reading, or doing crossword puzzles. I believe that personal transformation comes from looking inside to realize the unique gifts you were given to make an impact on our world.
My greatest blessings are my 5 kids, two sons-in-law, and my wonderful husband, Peter. We have three boys and two girls, currently ranging in age from 15-30. Right now we only have the youngest two boys left at home (high school hockey players). When I need some girl time, my married daughters and I love to get together for some shopping.

I would love for you to join me on my visual journey of color, shape, and texture, and my quest to find beauty in the mundane, making the most of every day.
